Bentley Systems
Client: Bentley Systems, London
Designer: Modus
Scope: 8,634 sq ft office
Located on the 43rd floor of the newly built 8 Bishopsgate, Bentley Systems workplace, designed by Modus demonstrates what an experiential workplace should look like, with a contemporary design that places technology and innovation at the forefront against the iconic London skyline.
A key consideration for the design team was sustainability and our Breeze acoustic ceiling baffles were chosen by Modus as the perfect sustainable, acoustic ceiling solution. Made from our Őra PET felt, the Breeze ceiling baffles contain at least 60% post-consumer waste from recycled plastic bottles and can themselves be recycled at the end of their life.
The baffles were installed across various spaces in bespoke sizes and configurations to ensure the acoustics of the space were exactly as they should be. For the breathtaking, dynamic experience studio that includes a 7.3-meter floor-to-ceiling LED screen and enveloping surround sound system, getting the acoustics right was critical and our Breeze acoustic baffles were installed in a more creative triangular configuration that not only enhance the acoustics but also delivered a dramatic visual impact that complimented the design of the space.
This unique project looked to develop both Bentley Systems' physical workspace and attitude to work. It is safe to say that the outcome has done just that, if not more. The space is confidently positioned to accelerate company culture and team creativity and empower individuals' own goals.
