Altice France is now the leading player in the convergence of telecoms and media in France. Through SFR, the second-largest French operator, Altice France is a key player in the telecoms sector, serving 26 million customers. The project manager is relying on Sileopta’s expertise and solutions to address an acoustic issue in its lobbies and corridors, break rooms, and meeting rooms . No fewer than 6,000 employees come and go daily, wanting to take a coffee break or chat in the designated areas. Visitors—both national and international—do the same. Since meeting rooms are generally equipped with audiovisual equipment, acoustic comfort deserves to be improved.
To ensure acoustic comfort in relaxation areas, corridors, and meeting rooms, the architects opted for Tyg wall-mounted acoustic solutions, consistent with the understated grey colour scheme of the spaces. The acoustic study at the Qu4drans site identified areas with particularly high reverberation times (RT greater than 0.80s). Impeccable control of silence is essential in spaces where employee well-being is paramount. Here, the technical performance of the Tyg panels is combined with the subtle materiality of the textiles, carefully selected in colour 8044 Stone. The aim is to create a visual continuity highly valued by the architect. All of this serves an architectural vision that embodies the renewed image of a company firmly rooted in its local community.
