After a fire destroyed CareCo’s original headquarters, the immediate priority was to create a temporary workplace that would allow teams to continue operating with minimal disruption. Designed by Cann Creative and delivered by Rose Builders, the temporary offices provided a practical and welcoming environment while the long-term HQ was being rebuilt.

To help these interim spaces feel comfortable and functional, we supplied Flott acoustic ceiling tiles, which were installed directly into the existing ceiling grid. This simple solution made a significant difference to the sound quality of the space, reducing echo and improving clarity across open plan areas. The installation also demonstrates how Flott can be used effectively in retrofit or rented environments where a quick to install and highly effective acoustic solution is needed. Plus they helped to bring some design flare, and interest to the ceiling.

While the temporary workspace supported CareCo through the transition, work continued on the salvaged headquarters, which was completed in late 2025. For this space, we developed a bespoke acoustic baffle solution tailored specifically to the new interior. The scale of the HQ, combined with busy call-handling areas and open plan working, required a design that could manage reverberation without compromising the architectural intent. The ceiling baffles were created to deliver strong acoustic performance while integrating seamlessly into the wider aesthetic, bringing a sense of rhythm and calm to the office floors.

Together, the two phases of the project highlight how acoustic design can support both immediate needs and long-term vision. From a fast, adaptable solution in the temporary offices to a fully bespoke installation in the rebuilt HQ, the focus throughout was on helping Rose builders create a space for CareCo that feel clear, comfortable and ready to support their teams through every stage of the journey.
