When px Group set out to bring two separate office locations together into a single headquarters, the goal was about much more than relocation. The project focused on creating a cohesive workplace that could unite teams, support a variety of working styles and provide an environment that reflected the company's culture and future ambitions.
Working across 30,000 square feet and three floors, Officeinsight designed a workplace that balances collaboration, concentration and flexibility. Through stakeholder engagement, workshops and ongoing consultation, the design team developed a clear understanding of the different requirements across the business, ensuring the final space worked for everyone who would use it.
Acoustic performance was an important part of the workplace strategy, helping to create comfortable environments across a wide variety of settings. A combination of AllSfär solutions was used throughout the scheme to support both functionality and design.
BreezeSense Baffles were integrated into open plan areas, helping to manage sound levels while adding rhythm and visual interest to the ceiling landscape. Their clean architectural lines complement the contemporary interior while improving acoustic comfort within larger collaborative spaces.
Aurora rafts and Flott ceiling tiles were introduced throughout key areas of the workplace, helping to reduce reverberation and create more comfortable environments for communication, concentration and day to day activity. By integrating acoustic treatments into the ceiling design, the project achieves effective sound control without compromising the overall aesthetic.
Lull hanging screens were used to help define and zone different areas of the office, creating a greater sense of separation within open-plan spaces while maintaining visual connectivity. They introduce an additional layer of acoustic control, supporting both focused work and collaborative activity.
Throughout the office, Öra Layered adds texture, depth and acoustic performance to feature walls and selected settings. By incorporating acoustic treatments as part of the overall interior design, the project achieves a balance between practicality and aesthetics, ensuring performance never comes at the expense of visual appeal.
The completed headquarters successfully brings together multiple teams under one roof, providing a workplace that supports collaboration while recognising the need for quieter, more focused environments. A variety of work settings, meeting spaces, training facilities and social areas allow employees to choose the environment that best suits the task at hand.
