Interski by Office Innovations

Ski-holiday specialist Interski wanted their new Mansfield office to feel dynamic, welcoming and unmistakably aligned with their brand. Office Innovations and OSB Architects took the project on with the goal of creating an open and flexible workspace that is both functional and comfortable.

When Office Innovations began discussing the acoustic needs of the space, it soon became clear that Swallow Dark Blue would be a key addition to the scheme. This shade, one of AllSfär’s deep, nature-inspired PET felt tones, delivered a confident and memorable design statement.

The acoustic element of the project started with a focus on designing special-sized Lull hanging screens to suit the ceiling height. Installed between desks to provide gentle visual separation and improve privacy without compromising the open feel or the flow of natural light these screens became a key part of the overall design.

As the scheme developed, it became apparent that the space would benefit from a more comprehensive acoustic treatment. This opened the door to introducing additional AllSfär products to help shape a calm and cohesive working environment across the whole floor.

To achieve this, Eclipse and Blom acoustic light shades were introduced above collaboration and meeting areas. These brought warmth and texture to the workspace, reduced noise where conversations naturally gather, and created sculptural focal points that emphasised the character of each zone.

Flott ceiling tiles in the Ray design were also installed in meeting rooms and focused work areas to help manage reverberation and improve clarity during discussions. Simply slipping into the existing ceiling grid, these tiles were an ideal way to add a simple yet unique feature to define these areas.

The completed scheme brings together acoustic lighting, suspended screens and ceiling treatments to produce a workplace that feels calm, connected and characterful. The result is a space with a strong sense of identity, supporting focus, collaboration and daily activity while offering the flexibility to evolve as the business grows.
