Designed by Bright Projects, this project is a new breakout hangar space for Air Charter Service created to give people somewhere to step away from the desk, reset, eat well, and enjoy time together. Wellbeing sits at the centre of the design, with every zone shaped around how the space is used day to day: from the catering set-up and social layout to the overall comfort of the environment.

A natural, calming design runs through the scheme, with wood tones and biophilia creating a welcoming feel. To ensure our acoustic elements blended seamlessly into the interior, we developed a bespoke timber print to match another wood finish, printing directly onto our Owl Dark Beige Fleck PET felt. This custom finish was then used across both the Verta vertical zoning fins and BreezeSense Boxy Baffles, bringing consistency between vertical features and the ceiling plane. 

BreezeSense Boxy Baffles were used throughout the café and breakout areas, helping to reduce reverberation and create a more comfortable soundscape especially in the busiest parts of the space. Both products are manufactured from recycled PET felt, and were produced in our Watford factory, combining strong environmental credentials with a high-end, design-led finish. 

The result is a breakout space that feels like a glimpse into the future of workplace design: natural, calming and flexible, with zones that support both connection and downtime. It’s a space where people can comfortably move between working and relaxing, in an environment that looks beautiful and feels genuinely good to be in.
