The Future of Work, Designed: Inside Workspace Paris 2026

April 1, 2026

Paris didn’t just host a workspace exhibition this March.

It set the tone for how we’ll think, feel, and perform at work.

Workspace Expo 2026 brought together thousands of professionals and hundreds of brands to explore the future of workplace design. But beyond the scale, one thing was clear:

The workspace is no longer a place. It’s an experience.

And this year, AllSfär didn’t just join the conversation. We built a space that demonstrated it. Launching the brand in Paris with a show-stopping stand showcasing our innovative and sustainable acoustic solutions for the first time since our recent launch of AllSfär France.

Below are our key takeaways together with how our stand delivered on the key themes.

  1. Colour Is Emotional Again

The era of safe neutrals is over.

Across the show:

      • Warm pinks and peach tones used with confidence
      • Earth-led palettes grounding high-traffic environments
      • Layered colour creating depth, not distraction

This isn’t styling.
It’s strategy.

Workspaces are now designed like brands — with emotional intent.

  1. Texture > Finish

Flat, minimal surfaces are giving way to tactile environments.

We saw:

      • Sculptural wall systems
      • Layered upholstery and soft architecture
      • Materials that invite interaction

Because in a digital world, physical space needs to do more.

It needs to be felt.

  1. Acoustics Becomes Core Infrastructure

One of the most significant shifts at Workspace Expo 2026:

Acoustics is no longer hidden. It’s designed in.

      • Acoustic panels becoming visual centrepieces
      • Ceiling and wall systems engineered for sound control
      • Soft materials integrated without compromising aesthetic clarity

But the real shift is strategic.

It’s no longer about noise reduction. It’s about performance through sound.

Focus. Collaboration. Clarity.

If the acoustics fail, the workspace fails.

The AllSfar Stand: Built, Not Styled

In a hall full of products, AllSfar created something different.

A complete environment.

Our stand wasn’t designed to be looked at.
It was designed to be experienced.

A Space That Demonstrated, Not Explained

Every element of the AllSfar stand worked as a system:

      • Colour was used to guide movement and create zones
      • Materiality defined interaction — where to pause, where to engage
      • Acoustics shaped behaviour — enabling conversation without distraction

Nothing was isolated.
Everything was intentional.

Because that’s how real workspaces operate.

Acoustics at the Core

While many stands treated acoustics as a feature, we treated it as infrastructure.

The space was designed to:

      • Absorb ambient noise from the exhibition floor
      • Create pockets of focus within an open environment
      • Allow conversations to happen naturally — without strain

Visitors didn’t just see the difference.
They felt it immediately.

This is the shift:
Acoustics isn’t a product add-on.
It’s a performance driver.

Brand-Led Environment, Not Generic Design

The AllSfär stand reflected a clear point of view:

Workspaces should be as distinct as the brands they represent.

We avoided:

      • Over-designed feature pieces
      • Trend-led distractions
      • One-size-fits-all solutions

Instead, we created a space that was:

    • Clean, but not minimal
    • Warm, but not soft
    • Structured, but highly adaptable

A workspace with identity.

Clarity in Complexity

Workspace design is becoming more complex — more variables, more expectations, more pressure to perform.

Our approach is simple:

Bring clarity.

The stand demonstrated how:

      • Multiple functions can coexist without conflict
      • Design decisions can serve both brand and performance
      • Spaces can feel intuitive, even when highly engineered

What This Means Moving Forward

Workspace Expo 2026 confirmed what we already know:

      • Offices are becoming experience platforms
      • Sound, colour, and material are now business tools
      • And the best environments are designed as systems, not collections

Final Thought

Paris showed where workspace design is going.

The AllSfär stand showed how to get there.

Not louder.
Not more complex.
Not trend-led.

Just better designed.
