Média-Participations needed to improve the acoustics of its large dining room, which also served as a presentation room. With numerous tables and a large volume, noise quickly became a problem during meals. However, the space also needed to remain functional for meetings, with an overhead projector projecting directly onto a wall. Therefore, the installation of acoustic solutions could not interfere with the projection. Furthermore, given the limited wall space, an effective alternative had to be found to reduce noise without impacting the room's use.
The objective was clear: to reduce noise pollution while preserving the modularity of the room. We therefore proposed a tailor-made solution, adapted to the space’s flexibility requirements.
The installation of suspended Lull acoustic panels effectively absorbed the noise. However, to ensure the projection screen remained usable, some of these panels were mounted on rails. This allows them to be moved at any time, adapting to the room’s daily use.
The room is now more pleasant to use on a daily basis: less reverberation, a calmer atmosphere during meals, and better intelligibility during meetings. Thanks to the sliding panels, the space can be adapted to each use without compromise. This layout improves employee comfort while respecting the constraints of the space.
