Flexworks Hull Coworking Space
As hybrid working continues to evolve, the demand for adaptable, inspiring workspaces has never been higher. That was the thinking behind Flexworks, a newly refurbished co-working space in the heart of Hull, designed to support freelancers, small businesses, and growing teams with a fresh, flexible approach to work.
The project transformed vacant office floors into a bright, modern environment offering private offices, co-working zones, breakout spaces, and social areas. With interior design by Maria Hatton, the space blends style and functionality, creating a setting where productivity and creativity can thrive.
But with such a dynamic layout and so many different work modes happening under one roof, acoustic comfort was essential. The team at Flexworks wanted to ensure that sound didn’t travel between offices and that each area could support focus without compromising the overall design vision.
That’s where AllSfär came in.

Working closely with the Flexworks team, we provided Tex acoustic tiles and Orbit floor standing screens that seamlessly complemented the interior aesthetic while significantly improving the acoustic performance across the space. These solutions helped soften sound transfer between private offices and supported a more focused, calm atmosphere throughout.

Using our Tex acoustic wall tiles in a mix of colours and shapes, Flexworks were able to create standout wall features that not only reduce sound but add visual interest. These unique installations double as design statements, bringing personality and texture to the space.
The soft, tactile materials and carefully chosen colour palette used throughout the interiors work hand in hand with our products to create a cohesive, welcoming environment that feels premium yet relaxed.

We also supplied acoustic wall panels for the Zoom rooms, helping to minimise sound transfer and maintain privacy for virtual meetings, ensuring that all conversations stay undisturbed.
