We were delighted to be chosen to contribute acoustic solutions to the project. From early on, it was clear that acoustics would play an important role in shaping how the space feels and functions, particularly across open areas and informal meeting settings.
Ora Layered acoustic wall panels were used throughout the office. The layered design adds subtle depth and texture to the space, while quietly working in the background to absorb sound and reduce reverberation. This helps create a more comfortable atmosphere where conversations feel clearer, and the space feels less busy, even at peak moments.
Grove acoustic trees were introduced to bring an extra sense of calm to open areas. Their sculptural forms help soften background noise without closing the space in, allowing the office to remain open and flexible. At the same time, they add a gentle biophilic element that contributes to a more relaxed and welcoming environment.
Together, the acoustic elements support a workspace that feels lively but balanced. By integrating acoustics as part of the overall design rather than an add on, the finished space reflects AskBio’s culture and the thoughtful approach taken by Amos Beech. The result is an office that supports everyday work in a way that feels natural, considered and comfortable.
