Closing the Loop
At AllSfär, sustainability isn’t an add on. It’s built into how we design, specify and manufacture. As part of our ongoing commitment to responsible materials and circular design, we’re introducing the AllSfär Take Back Scheme for our PET felt acoustic products.
Developed with commercial interiors in mind, the scheme supports designers who want to make considered, future focused choices without compromising on performance, aesthetics, or project delivery.
By taking responsibility for our products beyond their first installation, we’re helping close the loop on material use and reduce waste within the built environment.
Once an AllSfär PET felt product has been specified and installed, a Take Back Scheme Certificate can be issued, recording the installation and purchase date to support long term project documentation and sustainability reporting.
To ensure materials can be responsibly processed, returned PET felt products must be clean, dry, uncontaminated, and in reasonable condition. Products containing excessive adhesive, sealants, paint, coatings, or other fixatives applied during installation may not be accepted, as this can prevent reuse or recycling.
The material that is returned in the right condition is then reused in our manufacturing process to create more PET acoustic products.
The scheme is free of charge, where the client removes the products from the site, packages them securely for transport, and delivers them to AllSfär’s factory in Watford. Where additional support is needed, AllSfär can also provide removal and collection services, quoted separately based on site and product details.
The Take Back Scheme is part of AllSfär’s wider sustainability strategy, focused on material responsibility, longevity, and reducing the environmental impact of commercial interiors. It enables designers to specify with confidence, knowing that what’s installed today has a considered plan for tomorrow.
Because sustainable design doesn’t stop at handover. It continues throughout a product’s life.
