Clerkenwell Design Week 2026 Highlights
Colour, creativity and connection in the heart of Clerkenwell
Clerkenwell Design Week is always a standout moment in the design calendar, bringing together architects, interior designers, makers, manufacturers and creative thinkers across one of London’s most design-led neighbourhoods.
This year was no exception. Across the streets, showrooms and installations of Clerkenwell, there was a real sense of energy and curiosity. From bold outdoor features and material showcases to wellbeing-led experiences, colour stories and moments of unexpected playfulness, CDW offered plenty of inspiration for anyone interested in the future of commercial interiors.
For AllSfär, the week was particularly special as we welcomed visitors into our newly designed showroom, shared with Mount Lighting. The space provided the perfect setting to showcase our latest acoustic designs, introduce our new colour palette and explore new product developments created in collaboration with May Fawzy and MF Design Studio.
The redesigned showroom was created to feel warm, tactile and immersive. Throughout the week, visitors were able to experience our acoustic products in context, seeing how shape, texture, colour and lighting can work together to support more considered workplace and commercial environments. From sculptural ceiling features to wall panels, samples and new finishes, the space encouraged people to touch, explore and start conversations around acoustic performance, design flexibility and wellbeing.
We opened the week with Pastries and Prosecco, setting a relaxed and welcoming tone for the days ahead. It was a lovely way to invite people into the showroom, introduce the new space and begin CDW with a sense of celebration.
One of the biggest hits of the week was our lunchtime pizza. Prepared by a professional pizza chef, it was originally planned for Wednesday only, but proved so popular that we brought it back again on Thursday. It became a real talking point and a brilliant reminder that hospitality plays such an important role in bringing people together during busy events like CDW.
We rounded off the week with a lamp-making workshop in collaboration with Mount Lighting, giving visitors the chance to get hands-on and creative within the showroom. It was a fitting close to a week centred around making, materials, collaboration and design conversation.
Alongside hosting visitors in our own showroom, we also really enjoyed taking time to walk around Clerkenwell and experience the wider festival ourselves. One of the best parts of CDW is the opportunity to discover what others across the design community are creating, from large-scale installations and curated exhibitions to intimate showroom experiences and material showcases.
Across the festival, we saw a strong focus on natural textures, earthy colour palettes and tactile materials. Interface’s mood board displays particularly stood out, bringing together warm, grounded tones and finishes that reflected a wider movement towards calmer, more nature-inspired interiors.
There were also plenty of playful and wellbeing-focused moments throughout the week, including puppy therapy, which brought a welcome pause to the pace of the festival and added a light-hearted atmosphere across Clerkenwell. These experiences highlighted how wellbeing continues to influence not only workspace design, but also the way brands engage with visitors and create memorable experiences.
Material experimentation and craftsmanship were another key theme throughout the festival. From sustainable surfaces to sculptural lighting and innovative acoustic solutions, it was inspiring to see how designers and manufacturers are continuing to push creative boundaries while still focusing on functionality and wellbeing.
For us, Clerkenwell Design Week was a celebration of everything we value at AllSfär: thoughtful design, collaboration, creativity, acoustic comfort and meaningful connection. It was a chance to share our latest ideas, meet new and familiar faces, and be part of a wider conversation about the future of workplace and commercial design.
