A tour of La Défense. L'Archipel, Vinci's headquarters in Nanterre, is a giant real estate complex comprised of five buildings and encompassing 74,000 m² of office space. A significant challenge for AllSfär was mastering silence in this vast complex equipped with 4,000 workstations.

The Vinci Group, always at the forefront of research, adopts new working methods to stimulate innovation and employee productivity. As a leading organisation, clients and staff benefit from best practices in layout design – nothing is left to chance – every detail is considered, from circulation areas to reception spaces. From the project’s inception, Jean-Paul Viguier’s architectural firm considered the project’s acoustic requirements. Acoustics is a top priority for these spaces.

Working closely with the project manager, Sogéa, throughout the entire process, AllSfär rose to the challenge of realizing the architect’s vision for acoustic design.

The challenge was to create an acoustic environment that promotes comfort and reduces noise pollution. The design of the reception areas and circulation corridors, incorporating Tyg acoustic ceiling panels, fully meets the architectural specifications of the spaces. Like the rest of the Archipel building, the trapezoidal panels enhance the beauty of the spaces. They offer dual functionality with integrated lighting and excellent acoustic performance. In total, AllSfär designed and delivered over 2,000 m² of suspended acoustic panels – a truly impressive achievement. Furthermore, it is noted that the acoustic properties of the Tyg suspended panels exceed the initial requirements of the project’s acoustic engineering firm. The absorption surfaces are thus optimised for an even more intelligent installation.

The acoustic solutions in the high-traffic areas are in harmony with those of the other workspaces, meeting areas, and relaxation spaces, ensuring seamless flow from one floor to the next. In short, an undeniable success.

The visual effect is magnificent, truly impressive. The fluidity as you ascend the floors, moving seamlessly from one space to another, showcases the thoughtful architecture. The emphasis on natural light and the careful control of noise throughout the entire building make the “L’Archipel” offices a source of pride and a source of inspiration for the group.
