We believe everyone deserves an inspiring workplace to promote wellbeing, happiness and success.

We’ve combined our life-long passion for design together with our experience of creating engaging workplace and learning environments to create AllSfär, a new brand dedicated to improving workplace wellbeing, comfort and subsequently productivity.

Why AllSfär?

Choosing a name for a new venture is not as easy as it might seem. When we were thinking of a name for our new brand, we wanted it to convey our expertise, value and uniqueness. After many hours of research and brainstorming, we settled on AllSfär.

A combination of two words, All from the English language and Sfär from Swedish meaning sphere. The name AllSfär encapsulates our approach to product and space design - designing products that work in many spheres and at many levels.

The rationale behind our strapline, making places from spaces is designed to encourage people to question and understand the difference between places and spaces and to illustrate that we create products for inspirational spaces where people thrive.

Why now?

The increase in co-working offices together with the ongoing debates about the future of work, the rise of activity-based working, agile environments and employee wellbeing coupled with the rise of workplace technology and the expectations of a truly multi-generational workforce led us to question our own thoughts and ideas about office design. We knew that whilst attitudes to work had changed, the actual design of the workplace was struggling to keep up. We were increasingly being asked for more flexible designs and furniture options. Things that had previously sometimes been over-looked in office design such as lighting, noise and air quality were beginning to move up the agenda.

This coincided with our own interest in acoustics and our ongoing research into developing innovative acoustic solutions to promote wellbeing and incorporate elements of biophilic design into the working environment. The culmination of this 18-month research and development process is MUFFLE, our range of acoustic felt panels, including Muffle Mural, our selection of super high-resolution landscape and cityscape images that can be printed up to 21.9m wide using our specialist high-definition printing process.

What’s next?

Everything we do is underpinned by our belief that everyone deserves an inspiring workplace to promote wellbeing, happiness and success, this is what gets us out of bed in the morning and what drives us to develop new products. We are already in the throes of collaborating with leading workplace furniture designers on DIFFUSE, our range of innovative, modular acoustic workplace products and we’ve already secured our stand at Clerkenwell Design Week, where we’ll be showcasing our latest products and ideas.

We want to work with architects, designers and specifiers who are keen to introduce creative new ways of managing workplace noise as part of the design process – we hope you’ll join us on this journey!
